Visitors to Lake Bled in Slovenia enjoy its exuberant, fresh and green environment in many ways in summer, being stand-up paddle surfing, row boating or swimming the most popular, while wandering around its blue-turquoise waters watching beautiful alpine forest landscapes and some magnificent architecture that abound on its shores.Lake Bled is a very popular tourist destination in the Julian Alps of the Upper Carniolan region of northwestern Slovenia, located only 55 km far from the capital city, Ljubljana. It has a railway station to easily reach the area, besides the access by road. It's well known for the small Bled Island inside it, a very photographed landmark that has the pilgrimage church dedicated to the Assumption of Mary, among other buildings.
