| Lahnstein is a small town at the Lahn estuary in UNESCO World Heritage Site Oberes Mittelrheintal. The Lahn is a rather calm river due to many river locks. Lahn Valley is a touristic area with camping sites at the river. Lahnstein has a rich history from medieval times to a modern small town with some industry. The part up the river is Oberlahnstein with Niederlahnstein at the edge of the most southern parts of Koblenz. |
