Laborers carries a basket full of Hilsa fish caught at the Bay of Bengal in Namkhana,105 km (65 miles) south of Calcutta.The Hilsa fish,which is very popular with India's Bengali population,are transported long distances from the outskirts to Calcutta where these fetch huge prices. A kilogram of Hilsa fish sells for 700 rupees (11$) in the eastern Indian city.
