This beautiful bridge, was opened in 1984 by the Queen herself. Before then, ferrys had to convey cars and passengers, the few hundred yards between Kylesku and Kylestrome, over the sea loch of Glencoul. The road it conveys is the A894. The Glencoul loch is famous as the training ground, of the X submarines(mini) during the second world war. This bridge has won many awards for architecture.
