The Museum Kueppers Muehle is a striking industrial monument from the 19th century, which was built as a mill and operated for over 100 years (until it was shut down in 1972) in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Swiss star architects Herzog & de Meuron were commissioned with the conversion, transforming the old warehouse building with its historic brick façade into a home for art, culture and leisure.
