Kristopher Edelen, also known as Chef KPE, known for his multi-sensory and innovative cuisine, arrives at the International Rescue Committee`s 2017 Freedom Award Dinner. The annual fundraiser for the charity supports lifesaving humanitarian aid work globally. These efforts are of special urgency in these times of an extraordinary explosion of refugees. The event was held November 2, 2017 at the New Hilton Midtown in Manhattan. Edelen leads an ancillary group for IRC which provides food for refugees.
