| Kobern-Gondorf is a double village in lower Mosel valley. The waterfront area is known for the drive-through castle Oberburg. The main road north of the Mosel goes through the old customs castle. Right behind is Schloss von der Leyen. These buildings serve as an archive these days. You can walk and drive through on the Mosel side. High on the hill there is the Niederburg, a bit down the river. |
