| Views from the top of knockmealdown mountains ,the highest peak in this range is 2605 feet,.On a clear day there are views to the Waterford coast ,the Galty range of mountains and Slieve na mban.there is an old stone wall running from the base of the mountain to the top of the highest peak.This mountain range is an important breeding ground for the red grouse and the hen harrier.There are mosses and lichens and a small amount of forrestery |
