Gateway of Mughal Era Fort built by Rajput Land Lord Khushal Singh in 15-16 th Century AD near Mhow. It is known as Khushalgarh Fort. It was constructed on contemporary Mughal Pattern with Stone and Masonry Work. It is one of the biggest remaining Fort of Indore District. During the rule of Legendary Ruler Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar of Indore it was used as Prison for Malhar Rao Holkar II Son of Tukoji Rao I because of his rebellion for three months. Later on it was used by Pindari Mercenaries
