| The Karlsruhe palace was built in 1715 by Margrave Karl Wilhelm of Baden-Durlach. It served until 1918 as the residence of the Marquis and the Grand Dukes of Baden. Today in the building, the Baden State Museum is housed. Furthermore, it is a protected cultural property to the Hague Convention. |
