Power metal guitarist Karl Pontus Norgren He is the current guitarist of the Swedish power metal band HammerFall. The band was featured in the series Metal Evolution one documentary series directed by anthropologist and film-maker Sam Dunn and director, producer and music supervisor Scot McFadyen. Have been out on tour this summer with a temporary group Metal Allstars, who play cover songs by famous artists such as ZZ Top, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Pontus has played with various artists around the world, some which may be mentioned are Great King Rat, Talisman, Humanimal, The Ring, and Zan Clan. He was a live sound engineer for Thin Lizzy During the band's 2000 tour, similarly serving Europe and Yngwie J. Malmsteen. Website
