| Gangrenboqi, Meili Snow Mountain, Animaqing mountain and gaduojuevo in Yushu, Qinghai Province are known as the four sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism. The Gangdise mountains run between the Kunlun Mountains in the north and the Himalayas in the south, like a giant dragon lying on the vast plateau of Ali in Western Tibet. Its high head, like a great pyramid, stands on the plateau of aripulan, which is the second main peak of Gangrenboqi at an altitude of 6656 meters. |
