kampinos forest - a forest complex located in central poland, northwest of warsaw. it occupies a fragment of the Vistula proglacial valley in the mazowiecka lowland.the area is approx. 670 km², but only approx. 270 km² is covered by forests. currently, most of the area belongs to the kampinoski national park.
