The cape is issued in the sea for approximately two kilometers and is a natural and archaeological reserve, one of the top 100 tourist attractions in Bulgaria. The bay, protected by the cape from the severe winter winds, is a traditional place of refuge from the weather of sea vessels. The coast of Cape Kaliakra is of a limph type, the height of steep rocks reaches 70 meters.
