Jay Pritzker Pavilion is a revolutionary space, site of outdoor concerts, designed by Frank Gehry (winner of the National Medal of Art). It's located in Millennium Park (Chicago, Loop) and has 4000 fixed seats and beyond, on the great lawn, is capable of accommodating additional 7,000 people. The stage measures 120 feet in height, with a curved roof made of brushed stainless steel sails, in turn, connected to a tubular steel trellis above. On the trellis is installed the amplification system, the first of its kind in the country, designed to simulate the acoustics of an indoor concert hall, to distribute the sound evenly between the area of âEUR
