The courthouse was designed by the architects of Proudfoot & Bird, is an example of Beaux Arts architecture, and was built in 1909. The courthouse is a contributing property to the Newton Downtown Historic District, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 2, 1981. This picture was taken on May 5, 2016. |
