| Jacob sheep is an ancient, threatened breed. They have their name from the bible. According to the Book of Genesis in the bible (Genesis 30:31-43) Jacob undertook the earliest attempts to breed these type of sheeps. Therefore they received his name when they were named in the 20th century. The sheep are speckled and spotted. |
