| At the end of 1473 on the tower was placed the astronomical clock, the work of mathematician Bartolomeo Manfredi. The clock indicated the ordinary hours, astrologers and planets. Also noted the path of the sun through the signs of the Zodiac and the moon phases. Since 1700 no longer active, the astronomical mechanism was restarted in 1989 by blacksmith and clockmaker Alberto Gorla. |
