The tomb of Darius I the Great and the triumph of Shapur I relief and the tomb of Xerxes I at Naqsh-e Rustam, Iran. Naqsh-e Rustam is an ancient necropolis located about 12 kilometres of Persepolis and few hundreds meter from Naqsh-e Rajab. The oldest relief dates to 1000 BC. Four tombs of Achaemenid kings are carved out of the rock face at a considerable height above the ground. |
