A rare view of the nave of the Cathedral of Saint Peter and Saint Paul devoid of the chairs that normally fill the space. The design is Neo-Gothic and is influenced by English Gothic styles of the late fourteenth century. It is the second largest cathedral in the United States, and is one of the tallest buildings in Washington DC. The cathedral is on the National Historic Places Register.
