| Interior of Bath Abbey (The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, Bath). Abbey architecture differs with low aisles and nave arcades and the very tall clerestory - not typical for Perpendicular form of Gothic architecture. The building has 52 windows, most - with stained glass. The walls and roofs are supported by buttresses and surmounted by battlements, pinnacles and pierced parapets showing the fan vaulting of the nave ceiling. |
