| This image taken with an ultra-wide-angle `fisheye` lens was taken at the Van Gogh Exhibition: The Immersive Experience, at Pier 36, 299 South Street on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in December, 2021. It is an experimental, visual feast which also employs an eclectic sound track, including such favorites as Edith Piaf`s `Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien.` The paintings of Vincent Van Gogh are reproduced by digital theatrical-style projections throughout the 75 thousand square foot venue indoor venue. David Korins, award-winning set designer was the force behind the show. It has traveled throughout North America and the world. Visitors are required to show proof of vaccination against Covid-19 and to wear a mask. |
