| San Francisco has long been a favorate locale for TV and movie shootings, especially by famed movie director Alfred Hitchcock. Alfred Hitchcock`s 1958 classic Vertigo was filmed mostly at the Empire Hotel. Unfortunately, when the hotel was renovated and renamed to `Vertigo` in the early 2000`s, the `Empire` sign was compleatly removed and trashed. |
