This is a Spring picture of the historic clock tower on the administrative building of the Kankakee State Hospitol located in Kankakee, Illinois in Kankakee County. The brick tower is an example of Italianate architecture and was built in 1879. This structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 4, 1995.
