The Stowe Hardware and Supply Company building is a notable landmark in the West Bottoms area of Kansas City. This colossal building, standing 10 stories tall, was originally constructed in 1903 as a factory and warehouse for Studebaker, producing wagons, buggies, and phaetons. In 1918, it was bought by James G. Stowe and later became known as the Stowe Hardware and Supply Company. The company operated until 1998, and the building has since been repurposed for retail and events, including antiquing and crafting
