| Behind all of the glitz and fun of riding the nations only mobile, historic monuments are the two operators for each car. Not only do these operators have to drive the cars through the cities streets, up and down the very steep hills, but at the end of the lines, manually reverse direction, as there is no reverse on the cars. Here at the Powell and Market Street terminus is the turntable used to rotate the car to go back out. |
