the observatory building is made of three discs. The highest disc - reaching a height of 1620 m above sea level – houses a meteorological observatory. It has the smallest diameter - about 13 m. It is located on a reinforced concrete shaft, above the other discs. It is distinguished from the others by an external gallery running around the disc and a terrace for taking measurements on the roof. It has windows around the perimeter. In the lower disc, at the level of which the entrance to the observatory is located on the west side, there is a publicly accessible restaurant, from which you can admire the view towards the Jelenia Góra Valley, a souvenir shop, a resting place for tourists and toilets. This disc is located on the north side and has the largest diameter - approx. 30 m. There is a skylight on the roof of the disc. The disk is sub-basement.A medium disk with a diameter of approx. 20 m is located on the south side. It houses the technical facilities of the observatory, rooms for the observatory staff and warehouses. It is connected to the shaft on which the upper disc rests. There is a skylight on the roof of the disc. The disk is sub-basement.
