The Greyfriars Abbey or GrÃÂ¥brÃÂ¶draklostret in Swedish Ystad is a medieval former friary. Together with Vadstena Abbey, it is one of the most well-preserved medieval monasteries in Sweden. Today it houses the church of St. Peter or St. Petri kyrka and the Museum of the cultural history of Ystad. Surrounding the buildings there is a herbal garden.
