| Havens Place is a quiet little hidden gem of an alley in the Russian Hill neighborhood of San Francisco, named for the cities architect Charles Haven, during the 1880's. This beautifully privately maintained public alley is worth the climb. At the very top, where the path splits, the right side is privet. It is said the writer Armistead Maupin was living here when he was writing his most famous Tales of the City. As enjoyed 18 December 2024. |
