| Ligustrum ovalifolium Hassk is a semi-evergreen shrub of the genus Ligustrum in the family Oleaceae, 2-3 meters high. Terminal buds are well developed, lateral buds are solitary branchlets are brown, hairless or puberulent leaves are nearly leathery, obovate, ovate or subround, apex is pointed or blunt, base is wedge-shaped or subrounded panicle is terminal, towering shape, the pedicel is not as long, and the stamens and corolla lobes are almost as long the flowers are milky white and fragrant the fruit is nearly spherical or broadly oval, purple-black the flowering period is from June to July, and the fruiting period is from November to December. |
