Hanukkah is the Jewish religious holiday also known as Jewish Christmas, Feast of Lights or Feast of Enlightenment. This word, in Hebrew, means "inauguration" or "dedication" and, in fact, this well-known Jewish holiday commemorates the consecration of a new altar inside the temple of Jerusalem after the conquest of freedom from the Hellenes, a people who attempted to divert the Jews by the Torah and by precepts such as the Shabbat and the Brit Milah. This holiday lasts eight days, begins with the first evening called Erev Chanukkah and always takes place in the month of December. This illustration in English with the typical symbols of this holiday, namely the star of King David and the seven-branched candlestick or Menorah, can be used to wish a happy Hanukkah to friends, clients, relatives and work collaborators as a greeting card paper or electronic greetings.
