Ham Hill forms part of Hamdon Hill one of the largest Iron Age hill forts in Great Britain. Constructed between 600 BC and 100 BC. It has views over the Somerset Moors, Exmoor and the Mendip Hills. In the Victorian era Hamstone was quarried here and used on the frontage of the Houses of Parliament in London |
