| A shot from the upper crags on Hallââ¬â¢s Fell Blencathra in the northern fells of the Lake District. The frame hides much of Hallââ¬â¢s Fell Ridge, which is a fantastic scramble to the summit but, in doing so, it offers a wide-angle shot of the valley below with Clough Head and the Helvellyn range in the distance, as St. John`s in the Vale and Thirlmere sit to the right of this. On the far right of the frame sits the great mass of Gategill Fell, often referred to as the great pyramid of Blencathra while the afternoon sun lights up much of the valley below. |
