Small church in the Temple of Demeter in Naxos, Greece

The ruins of the Temple of Demeter and possibly Kore/Persephone sit under an expansive sky with clouds in the village of Sangri on the Greek island of Naxos. Built before the Parthenon, this temple is one of the first Ionic style temples, built entirely of marble found on the island of Naxos. A small church building sits to the side of the Temple.
