The Guosheng Port Lighthouse was built in 1957 in Qigu District, Tainan City, Taiwan, and is the westernmost lighthouse in Taiwan. It is a black and white conical steel structure. After its initial construction, the lighthouse was damaged by typhoons and erosion from the sea, causing the sandbar around it to disappear and leaving the entire structure surrounded by water. In 1969, it was further destroyed by Typhoon Gloria and became unusable. In June 1970, a new lighthouse was built in nearby Dingtoue Shan to replace the old one.
