Sarangan Lake, also known as Telaga Pasir, is a natural lake located at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level and is located on the slope of Mount Lawu, Plaosan Subdistrict, Magetan Regency, East Java. This lake is about 16 kilometers west of Magetan town. This lake is about 30 hectares and 28 meters deep. With temperatures between 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, Telaga Sarangan is able to attract hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.nnSarangan Lake is the mainstay of Magetan tourism object. Around the lake there are two star hotels, 43 hotels jasmine classes, and 18 tourist cottages. In addition to dozens of souvenir kiosks, visitors can also enjoy the beauty of Sarangan by riding around the lake, or riding a fast boat.
