| Gunkanjima, or Hashima, is an abandoned islet near Nagasaki city completely covered in industrial ruins. Once a coal mine run by Mitsubishi Corp, it was abandoned in 1974 and is now an industrial heritage site. The island is renowned for its resemblance to a battleship. |
