Hitler`s Nazi bunker `Barenholle` near Smolensk Russia. The system of bunkers `Barenholle` near the village of Krasny Bor near Smolensk began to be built in 1941 as the rate of the Fuhrer of the Third Reich Adolf Hitler by prisoners of war and the construction organization Fritz Todd. An extensive network of underground and above-ground structures has been created, which has survived to the present day. After the retreat of the German troops, the bunker was flooded, and after the war all the entrances were concreted. Hitler visited the bunker twice, later it housed the headquarters of the army group `Center` under the leadership of field Marshal Von Kluge. The Bear hall was visited by Guderian, Keitel and many other commanders of Nazi Germany. Today, the preserved above-ground facilities of the bunker, ponds created for water supply, restored the German cemetery near the village of Nizhnyaya Dubrovenka. Access to the interior of the object is closed.
