The Water Ark of the Mãs d'Água reservoir in Amoreiras, Lisbon. It is a small inland lake in the center of elegant arcade structures and has a small waterfall. The Mãe d'Água Reservoir, completed in 1834, was designed by Hungarian architect Carlos Mardel. Its construction aimed to receive and distribute the water supplied by the Águas Livres Aqueduct, buildt between 1731 and 1799.
