This is a Winter picture of the John W. Griffiths Mansion located on the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. The 2 1/2 story mansion was designed by Solon S. Beman, is an example of the Chateauesque style of architecture, constructed with Indiana Limestone, features tall gable dormers, and was built in 1894. The structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 5, 1982. This picture was taken on December 1, 2016.
