| Sianok Canyon is a steep valley (ravine) located on the border of Bukittinggi City, in IV Koto District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. This valley stretches and meanders as the city boundary from the south of Koto Gadang Canyon to the Sianok Anam Suku village, and ends in Palupuh District. Sianok Canyon has very beautiful scenery and is also one of the province's mainstay tourist attractions. Sianok Canyon, which is about 100 m deep, stretches 15 km with a width of about 200 m, and is part of a fault that separates Sumatra Island into two longitudinal parts (Semangko fault) |
