Lavishly decorated Great Cloister at Canterbury Cathedral,The Cloister is situated on the north side of the Cathedral. It is a covered colonnade that encloses a small green courtyard and is attached to the side of the Cathedral'This is a square, covered walk around a central green space. It would have been used by the monks for contemplation, and the covered walks also provided well-lit areas for reading and writing. The highlight of the cloisters is the superb vaulted roof, punctuated with wonderful painted bosses. Unesco world heritage site.Kent, UK,August 1st 2016
