The sculpture by French artist Jules-Félix Coutan is called The Glory of Commerce.
The figures depicted are Mercury the god of speed and the messenger of the gods, in the center. To his right is Hercules, who represents strength, to his left is Minerva the goddess of wisdom, warfare and trade. |
