The Canal Grande or Grand Canal is a canal in Venice, Italy. It forms one of the major water-traffic corridors in the city. At the background the campanile of the Chiesa dei Santi Apostoli di Cristo or the Church of the Holy Apostles of Christ, a 7th century Roman Catholic church located in the Cannaregio sestiere and one of the oldest churches in the city.
