Newborn Goslings follow their parent Canada Geese through low spring vegetation looking for tasty food. Each Gosling is covered with soft fuzzy feathers of yellow and black with long spikey hairs to help regulate their temperature. They were born at Busch Wildlife area in St. Charles County in east central Missouri in late April or early May. Only days old they rely on their parents to show them what to eat and to keep them safe.
