Geghard arm. Գեղարդ, [geghárd], literally `spear`, also used the old name of ayrivank cave monastery, at least Geghard - monastery complex, a unique architectural construction in the Kotayk region, Armenia. It is located in the gorge of the mountain river Gokht right tributary of the river Azat, about 40 km Southeast of Yerevan. Listed by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site
