During 2020, the heritage of the Mart`s 20th century archive was enriched with a precious donation: the Archive of Gian Leo Salvotti de Bindis 1931, a leading figure in Italian architecture of the second half of the 20th century. Born in Trentino, active in Rome at Adalberto Libera`s studio, since the end of the 1950s Salvotti has elected the city of Trento as the place of his business and a privileged field for a profound architectural and urban planning reflection with a strongly ideal character. The experimental positions make Salvotti one of the most complex, counter-current and original voices on the Italian scene.
