| Nebraska's largest reservoir located just North of Ogallala, Nebraska on a beautiful fall day in early September. Large concrete and steel structure allows water to to flow bypassing the Kingsley dam on the North Platte River in western Nebraska. Water passing through the dam is used to produce electricity and the dam controls flooding in the Platte river basin. the lake also provides endless hours of recreation for fishermen and boating enthusiasts. |
