The Giant Buddha statue in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, China,rests his feet where three riversÃ¢â¬âÃ¢â¬âthe Minjiang, Qingyi and DaduÃ¢â¬âÃ¢â¬âjoin. The Buddha is chased out of the slope by the river. Standing at 70.7 meters with shoulders 24 meters wide it is an impressive sight. It was included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1996.
