| Thür is a village in the Eifel Nature reserve Thürer Wiesen in the Eifel is a swampland valley surrounded by agricultural fields on hills. It stretches between Mendig, Thür and Kottenheim. The regional dialect refers in several ways to the Thürer Sumpf. There are several lakes in that swampland, not all are connected to the river. One of these lake almost dried out completely in summer 2022 |
